Fayette Companies is a member of The Central Illinois Coalition for Mental Health Recovery, an advocacy group of 40 plus members dedicated to promoting recovery for those affected by mental illness. The group’s mission is to build partnerships and the necessary elements for recovery in our communities. Members include community agencies, hospitals, the medical school, health department, school officials, mental health association, Division of Mental Health of the Department of Human Services, local chapter of the National Alliance
on Mental Illness, private counseling groups, employers, Peoria county sheriff's office, primary consumers, and others. Founded in 2002 by Representative David Leitch prior to the closure of Zeller Mental Health Center, the group continues to meet monthly and the steering committee, of which Fayette is a member, meets weekly.
