assessment

Individuals are assessed to determine the most appropriate placement for treatment.  The final decision regarding the type of care is up to the individual. If the program that is the best fit for the individual is full, START NOW provides daily treatment and support as the individual waits to enter the more structured setting.

New Leaf Lodge & Retreat - Women's Residential & Outpatient Treatment Center

For all three residential substance use treatment facilities listed above, men and women, are provided with individualized treatment.  Men and women in our programs have the opportunity to progress through three phases of recovery support such that they are able to build “recovery capital”.  Recovery capital has to do with the quality and number of resources that each individual can draw upon to sustain wellness after treatment.

ContinuingCareFor many, building “recovery capital” means working or searching for a job or enrolling in school and saving finds necessary for post-treatment housing while living in a stable, safe, treatment environment.  Our approach allows the individual to pursue these supports while still living in one of the Human Service Center’s residential treatment settings.

Individualized recovery building includes rehearsal of positive behaviors, and the development of recovery and treatment supports long before treatment ends.

gazebo                        Continuing Care

Residential treatment is the first step on the road to recovery.  Participation in Continuing Care is central to the success of any treatment program.  Continuing Care gives men and women the tolls needed to meet the demands of life while continuing their recovery.  Participants meet once a week and focus on relapse prevention.

Continuing Care is also individualized and the length of Continuing Care will vary depending on the individualized needs.ing on the individualized nRecovery Coaching
